AI sales role-play
AI sales role-play with a buyer who pushes back
Practice sales conversations with an AI buyer by text or live voice, get a step-by-step debrief, and climb Andrei Sizov’s sales Ladder. One-off packs, no subscription.
The short answer
Sales Commander is an AI sales role-play app. You describe what you sell and who buys it, then talk to an AI buyer by text or live voice. In most conversation exercises the buyer resists on three levels: warm, pushing back, almost gone. After every conversation a debrief scores the skill step by step.
Your first conversation is free, no card.
What this means
AI sales role-play is a rehearsal conversation. You stay the seller, the AI plays the buyer, and each round trains one specific moment of the sale, like the first contact or the “I’ll think about it” stall, instead of a script to memorize.
How to practice it
- Describe your offer and buyer in general terms, for example term life insurance for a young family, without a real customer’s name or data.
- Open an exercise: a new account starts free with The Flea. Packs add tokens, and each rung of the Ladder opens once you pass the one before it.
- Answer the buyer in your own words, by typing or by speaking.
- Finish the conversation and read the debrief: which steps of the skill you made and which you missed.
- Repeat until you pass; after a pass, the app offers the next level if the exercise has one.
Example
Example — an insurance call, not a real customer
- Seller
- Before I walk you through the policy, what would you want it to protect first if something happened to you?
- AI buyer
- The mortgage. One income wouldn’t cover it.
The debrief doesn’t grade whether you closed the sale. It checks whether the seller asked an open question and let the buyer name what matters before presenting.
How Sales Commander helps
Sales Commander turns Andrei Sizov’s sales method into a practice app. The author is still reviewing the app’s version of it. It has 25 exercises: a Foundations track plus the eight rungs of the Sizov Sales Ladder. 16 of them are conversations with an AI buyer by text or live voice, and the rest are workbooks, drills and a guided self-check. In most conversations the buyer resists on three levels: warm, pushing back, almost gone. Each conversation ends with a step-by-step debrief. One-time packs: $19, $39 or $99. No subscription.
When it helps
- You want to rehearse one hard moment of a sale before a live call.
- You want to compare two versions of your wording against the same steps.
- You want a transcript and a debrief to review on your own.
What it can’t do
- The simulation gives you repeatable practice and structured feedback. It cannot predict how a specific real customer will respond.
- The AI buyer is a simulation and may make mistakes.
- Do not enter real-customer personal or confidential information.
FAQ
How is this different from asking ChatGPT to play a buyer?
A general chat can play a buyer if you prompt it. Sales Commander comes with the exercises built in. Each of the simulator’s 16 conversation exercises has a set buyer, its own set of levels and an AI grader that scores every step.
Can I practice my own product or service?
Yes. Describe the offer and the buyer in general terms: insurance, real estate, software, whatever you sell. Leave out real customers’ names and confidential details.
Do I need to memorize a script?
No. You answer in your own words; the debrief checks whether you made the steps of the skill, whatever wording you chose.
Can I practice by voice?
Yes. Every conversation exercise runs by text or live voice. A text session costs 10 tokens; voice costs 6 tokens a minute, and a partial minute counts as a full one.
How much does it cost?
A new account gets 40 tokens free: about 4 text sessions or 6 minutes of voice. After that, one-off packs cost $19 / $39 / $99; there is no subscription.
